02 FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION

BEFORE YOU JOIN

Good questions.

About the app and the waitlist.

What is Chalk?

Chalk is an upcoming daily planner for iPhone. It brings your to-do list, habit tracker, meal planner, and focus tools together, so you can make time for what matters and find your way back when your attention drifts.

When can I try it?

Chalk is not on the App Store yet. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s ready to try. We haven’t announced a launch date.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

We’ll save your email so we can let you know when Chalk is ready. Joining is free and doesn’t commit you to buying anything.

Can I use a focus timer for tasks?

Yes. Set a duration for a task and start its focus timer. Chalk shows what you’re working on and the time remaining. Pause, resume, or adjust the timer as you go. You can also save tasks as routines to add to your day again.

How does the scrolling reminder work?

Chalk Focus adds up time across the apps and sites you select during a session. When you reach your chosen limit, a full-screen reminder gives you a moment to pause. You can close the app or continue after a five-second pause. A few minutes away resets the session. The interactive Scroll Break preview is illustrative.

How does Chalk help with screen time?

Scroll Break helps you notice when time in your selected apps and sites reaches the session limit you chose. Your daily plans, habits, and meals give you something to return to. You decide whether to close the app or continue after a short pause.

Will Chalk be available on Android?

We’re building for iPhone first. We don’t have an Android release to announce.
